The Soprano ICE Platinum & Soprano ICE Laser are cleared for use on all skin types, including tanned skin. SHR works by gradually heating the dermis to a temperature that effectively damages the hair follicles, while avoiding any injurious harm to the surrounding tissue. As a result, the need for light to effectively be absorbed and destroy the follicle is crucial, and can require several treatments in between a 4-6 week period in order to reduce unwanted hair. However, with the Soprano ICE, most clients see a significant reduction in hair after the first few treatments.
